Dominique Gesseney-Rappo
Born in 1953, Dominique Gesseney-Rappo began his musical education at the Lausanne and Friborg conservatories, where he earned a cello diploma and a music teacher diploma; He also studied singing, writing and orchestration there.
After dividing his time for a long time between teaching, conducting the choir, singing and composing within the Jaquemart Quartet, he now devotes most of his time to this last activity and also provides direction for the choirs. (Echo des Marches) and Arconciel (Harmonie). He was honored in 2003 with the creation of a fund in his name by the Lausanne Canton and University Library and the publication of a List of Works brochure under the chairmanship of Jean-Louis Matthey and became the beneficiary in December 2006. Scholarship awarded by the Leenaards Foundation.
