Some changes were done to make sheet music sharing process better, safer and in compliance with owner's rights.
- The sheets you have uploaded before will be reviewed by our editor's, and they will be made available to download if they are not infringing any copyrights.
- The sheets that are in your repository will be made available to download only if they are not infringing any copyrights.
- The files you upload will be made available after the review process to be sure there are no possible copyright issues.
- You can still use your credits to download available sheet music which are completely legal files to share in public.

Why should I become a member?
You should become a member if you want to make a request to find the sheets you are looking for, or add your sheets and upload them to download other sheets submitted by members. You can get in touch with other people all around the world that plays the same instrument with you or are fan of the same artist whose songs you know very well to play.
How can I request the sheet I am looking for?
First, try to make sure that the sheet is not already listed by some other member. If it is listed and you have credits, you may be able to download it right away! If you do not have credits yet, click here to learn how to gain credits.
If the sheet music you are looking for is not listed, just click on the "Request A Sheet" link at the top of the each page and enter the artist and song name, for which instruments the sheet you are looking for is and if you want some information. After that just wait for some other member to fill your request and system will automatically tell you that the sheet you are looking for is found via email.
How can I download sheets?
To download sheets that other members uploaded you should first upload some of the sheets you have. For every 1 sheet you uploaded you earn credit to download 2 more sheets. Keep in mind that by uploading more sheets, you allow people to find more sheets which they should upload first to download and that allows other members (maybe you) to find the sheets they need.
Why is there a download quota?
There is a download quota to make sure that members share their own sheets with other members first to make the sheet archive grow. That enables members to find the sheets they are looking for in a quick and easy way.
Why are some sheets downloadable and some are not?
Only the sheets that have a file type icon in the listings can be downloaded because these are the legal to share sheet music files that the users have uploaded. The ones without an icon are just there to let you know that the user has this sheet music. If you get in touch with him, it is quite possible that you can exchange the sheet music you need for the sheet music he or she is possibly looking for which you might have. Best of all, you do not need to have credits to get in touch with a user.

How can I gain credits?

Please be also sure that the file you are going to upload is completely legal to share. These include;
- Public domain sheet music files: Due to European regulations, a work is considered to be in the public domain if the last surviving author/editor/librettist has been dead for over 70 years. (e.g. Any work by Maurice Ravel is public domain in the EU, since he died in 1937.) A work first published after the death of the last surviving author/editor/librettist is subject to copyright protection of at least 25 years after first publication.
-
Your arrangements or compositions: If you release your work under one of the Creative Commons licenses listed below.
