Demény Dezső
He studied in Budapest, Szatmárnémeti and Esztergom, where he was ordained a priest in 1893. He was a chaplain in Dömös and Alsószerdahely. From 1894 he became an archbishop's clerk in Budapest, from 1896 he became a gymnasium religion teacher, and from 1897 he became the chaplain of the Buda parish. From 1913 he was the organist of the St. István Basilica, and from 1914 he was an honorary papal chamberlain. In 1915, SZIA III. selected him as a member of his class. From 1920, he worked in the Palestrina Choir. Between 1926-1930 he was the president of the National Hungarian Cecilia Association. Between 1926-1928 he was a teacher at the College of Music. He was a music reviewer for the Rózsavölgy company.
