Antonino Manoel do Espírito Santo (May 10, 1884 – April 16, 1913), known and sometimes referred to as Antônio do Espírito Santo, was a composer of Brazilian military instrumental music and considered the country's greatest military composer. . He was a boarding student at the Arsenal de Guerra, where he learned music. He made his first composition at just 15 years old, the dubbed "Palmeira dos Índios".
