Emilio Sierra Baquero has been a tipster and guitarist since childhood. When he was very young, he was a member of gangs of different municipalities of Cundinamarca. It is noteworthy that all musical knowledge is self-taught. Born in Fusagasugá on September 15, 1891, he divided the history of Colombian music by promoting and disseminating the Rumba Criolla, the natural air of Cundinamarca with his orchestra, and by the Chapter Assembly dated 27 July 1994 No. 14 It was announced under the regulation.Rumba Criolla is a kind of festive bambooco; Rhythm, which dominated dance preferences in Colombia in the forties, replaced the dominant rhythms of the time, waltzes, dances and corridors. The success was so great that RCA Víctor sent technicians and equipment from the United States to record such a magnificent orchestra.
