Aleksandr Skryabin
Alexander Nikolayevich Scriabin (Russian: Александр Николаевич Скрябин, Aleksandr Nikolayevich Scriabin) (6 January 1872 – 27 April 1915, Moscow), a Russian composer and pianist.
Scriabin has been described as the most innovative and exceptional pianist and composer among the early modern composers. At the beginning of his career, Scriabin was inspired by Fredric Chopin and composed music with a very lyrical character but a unique tone. But, unaware and independent of Arnold Schönberg's innovations, he increasingly composed his music atonally, based on the accepted mysticism movement, and thus pioneered the 12-tone composition and serial music movements. He is also seen as a leading composer among the Russian Symbolist movement composers.
