Antonio Carlos Brasileiro de Almeida Jobim (born January 25, 1927, Rio de Janeiro - December 8, 1994, New York), also known as Tom Jobim, is a Brazilian composer, performer, pianist and guitarist.Together with Vinicius de Moraes and João Gilberto, he was one of the pioneers who created the Bossa Nova movement. He is considered one of the most important composers of the 20th century. Its name is also given to Rio de Janeiro's Galeão Airport.
