Musician Canh Than (1920 - 1970) is one of the pioneering musicians of Vietnamese new music, but there are very few documents about him, Musician Canh Than was born in 1920, originally from Hai Phong. He died around 1970 in Saigon under rather tragic circumstances. He started out as a reformed artist and then turned to a neo-musician singer and also a musician.He joined the Tino Association and took the stage name Tino Than.
