José Alejandro Morales (El Socorro, March 19, 1913-Bogotá, September 22, 1978) was a Colombian musical composer.
He was one of the most important Colombian composers, as well as being one of those who has left the most works. He was always characterized by his elegance, in addition to his musical talent. He was the first composer to make a protest song in Colombia, with the song Yesterday they threw me out of town.
