Jacques Joseph Victor Higelin (18 October 1940 – 6 April 2018) was a prominent French male pop singer. He was a prominent French pop singer in the early 1970s. Early in his career, many of Higel's songs were blacklisted by French radio for his controversial left-wing political beliefs and association with radical socialist advocacy groups. French pop singer Jacques Higelin died on 6 April 2018 in Paris.
