Farce Majeure was a funny, satirical and muzikaal Nederlands televisieprogramma van NCRV met Alexander Pola (1914-1992), Fred Benavente (1926-2005), Ted de Braak (1935), Jan Fillekers (1938) and Henk van der Horst (1939 ). The music of many songs was by Harry Bannink (1929-1999).The first reeks uitzendingen started from 17 September 1966 tot 1976. One two reeks started from 1983 tot 1986.The title is a word speling with the fringes of term force majeure, which is considered to be overpowering. Maar farce betekent in het Frans scherts, of mop, dus farce majeure betekent supermop.
