Muddy Waters, real name McKinley Morganfield, (born April 4, 1913, Issaquena County, Mississippi - April 30, 1983, Westmont, Illinois), American blues musician, widely considered the "father of Chicago blues".
Waters, which is supposed to form the basis of the blues music genre, Before World War II, the blues was the leading name of the genre.
