Antonio of Padova (born Fernando de Bulhões) (Lisbon, Portugal born 15 August 1195 – Padova, Italy 13 June 1231) was a Franciscan priest, spiritual doctrinaire, renowned preacher and miracle worker. Pope IX in 1232. It was canonized by Gregory. On January 16, 1946, Pope XII. He was declared Doctor of the Church by Pius. Its feast day is June 13.
