Dong Young-bae (Korean: 동영배; born May 18, 1988), stage name Taeyang and SOL, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and dancer. He is the main vocalist and main dancer of the South Korean boy group Big Bang.Taeyang, who made his first step into the art world with a movie he acted at the age of 12, immediately after this movie, he auditioned and won to play Sean's junior in the music video of JinuSean's A-Yo, the group of YG Entertainment, one of the biggest music companies in Korea.
