Alexander Nikolayevich Tcherepnin was a Russian-born composer and pianist. Both his father, Nikolai Tcherepnin, and his sons, Serge Tcherepnin and Ivan Tcherepnin, as well as two of his grandsons, Sergei and Stefan, were composers.
