The Chordettes. The barbershop quartet, founded in the late 1940s by four women, Janet Ertel, Carol Bushman, Dorothy Schwartz and Jinny Osborn in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Lynn Evans replaced Schwartz in 1952, and Margie Needham replaced Osborn in 1953.
