For 40 years, Kinley has worked as a choir director – with children and youth and church choirs, secular and church choirs and professional ensembles. He was the founder and conductor of the Austin ProChorus Ensemble, a chamber choir dedicated to the works of living composers. Recently, Kinley has devoted more and more to the composition of choral music and vocal pieces in particular.
