Ramón Sixto Ríos, (1913-1995), was a musician and guitarist from Argentina, known for having composed the song "Merceditas", one of the most popular in the history of Argentine folk music. Ríos also composed other songs such as "Qué linda estabas", "María Elvira", etc.
