Daniel MazaDaniel Omar Correa Suárez, nicknamed Daniel Maza in his youth (Montevideo, October 19, 1959) is a renowned Uruguayan bassist and singer. From a very young age he has worked with great musicians from both sides of the Río de la Plata, such as the brothers Hugo and Osvaldo Fattoruso. Based since the '80s in Argentina, he dedicated himself to various musical styles.He participated in recording sessions and in presentations with Valeria Lynch, Sandra Mihanovich, among other artists. He joined Horacio Fontova's group and shared stages with Mono Fontana, Mono Izaurralde, Chango Spasiuk and various musicians from the local scene. He shared recording sessions with Rubén Rada. Jam Sessions with Ray Barreto, Simon Phillips, Djavan, Ed Motta, Steve Lukather (Toto), Jeff Andrews and Richie Morales. He accompanies Willie Chirino, Hugo Fattoruso, and Cuban percussionists Changuito and Tataguines on tours. He was summoned by Celia Cruz for presentations in South America, Europe, the United States and the interior of the country. Los Authentic Decadentes made an important tour in Mexico, Central America and in more than twenty places in the United States, with Daniel Maza in their shows.
