Emil Adamič was among the most productive Slovenian composers. He wrote choral and orchestral music, altogether over 1,000 works. Adamič was born in Dobrova to Avgust Adamič and Katarina Brus Adamič. He studied at conservatories in Trieste and Ljubljana.
