My name is Kyle Hollerbach and I am a senior at Fort Lewis College. I am attaining a music education degree with a history minor and I am from Phoenix, Arizona. Professor John O’Neal and Dr. Jonathan Latta have been my lesson, ensemble, and master class teachers and have given me a great experience at Fort Lewis College. I have worked with the Durango High School band for the past two years and continue to help their band every week. I have also volunteered at Escalante Middle School with a class of struggling readers.This past year I was a student ambassador for Fort Lewis College which is a very fun and educational experience. Being a student ambassador, I gave tours of the college campus and got to meet and talk with students from all over the nation. I have also worked for the college music department for the past two years which has shown me how to run concerts and will help me become an even better educator.
