Frits Hendrich joined the Tielse Muziekschool in 1970 as a piano teacher. His passion for music was not limited to the piano alone: ​​he took on the task of revitalizing the Tiels Madrigaal Koor. And that worked. "It will do me the duvel if there is no good choir in Tiel", was his motivation. He was the Artistic Director of the Tiels Madrigaal Koor for from 1972 to 2018. Thanks to his musicality and enthusiasm, he still manages to motivate the members to interpret the piece at a high level. Under his direction, the repertoire of Tiels Madrigaal Koor was broadened.
