This Etude was written in...(more) early January (2011), after I watched Leslie J. Howard playing the sxth etude by Paganini-Liszt. I dedicated the piece to Leslie, who received it with the heart open.

It is written in form of variation. First, there is a prelude, a happy A flat Major scale ascending. Then the theme appears, simple and moderato. Then the variations starts, there are eleven of them. Each Variation requires a specific technique such as ability with glissandos, clear playing of the same notes, arpeggios and so on.

The Finale mixes all the variations, they appear togetherin order to close the etude with a gold key!
